April Letter from the Missionary

Hey Everyone,

Four students at four different high schools newly professed a relationship with Jesus Christ last month through C3's ministry. Praise God! Let me tell you about one of these:

At the beginning of our after-school meeting, one girl said that she was going to hell. She admitted openly that she did bad things, continued to do bad things, and didn't see an alternative. I gave her the good news about Jesus. She said that she wanted this relationship with Jesus, to rely on Him, not herself. She realized that she personally couldn't live up to the standard of goodness, but realized Jesus had and that He could transform her. She knew Jesus wasn't asking her to work harder to follow the “rules”, but He was inviting her into a life giving relationship with Him.

I am looking forward to ministering to students and schools during the last two months of this school year and am blessed by your support and prayers.

Special Announcement: I would like to invite you all to the First Annual C3 Banquet to celebrate what God has done through students and C3.

April Personal Update

Elizabeth and I are excitingly waiting to meet our new son. Doctors say we will meet him around May 16. We have moved into a 3 bedroom house—Jilas loves the stairs. Despite the school year ending, my summer is filling up fast. I am conducting a workshop at a summer youth camp, leading a group of high-schoolers on a mission trip to Peru, directing summer day camps for children ages 5 – 18 (go to gracecamps.com for details), and preparing on-campus ministry activities for the next school year.

+ God continues to open doors at the schools for next year
+ All of my interactions with students lead them to Jesus
